How do you handle being Single when all your friends are engaged or married?

Sincerely, Single and Soooo tired of waiting

Hey Single and Sooo tired of waiting,
I love this question, because I can answer from a real perspective. If you follow my blog, then you know I've been single for a while (#allmylife) and it no longer bothers me. I've grown to learn that my identity is not based off a relationship status or whether or not I go on dates, but who the Lord says I am.
I think once you develop this mentality, it becomes a little easier to deal with the situation. I've also learned that hanging around individuals in serious relationships gives you an AMAZING perspective on what marriage is like. Granted, you'll only see a glimpse, but that glimpse may be enough to give you the peace in waiting. You never know.

Hang in there honey, your Prince is coming soon.

With love,

I love Jesus, but I love twerking in clubs.

Drop it like it's hot

Hey Drop it like it's hot,
First off, LOL girl. You're honestly asking a question that I've seen before! So, thank you. Now, I will say this because I believe in transparency. I go to bars and clubs. Not frequently, but maybe every few months for a concert, event or a girls night out. I also love to drop it like it's hot, but I drop it for ME, MYSELF and I. I don't dance on Men, I don't dance innapropriately and I definitely don't dress like I have lost my mind.

I personally don't struggle with temptation in these places, but everyone is different. If clubs/bars are a place of temptation for you, then avoid it by all means. But, I truthfully see no problem with having a girls night, looking cute and dancing for yourself. I know someone out there will argue with me about this...oh, well.

You keep on dancing for yourself, while being fully clothed. Jesus, still loves you.

Probably dropping it like it's hot next weekend,

Why do you believe in God? You don't even know if he's real?
Sincerely, What's the Point

Hey What's the Point,
Great question and I'll tell you this. I believe in God, because He has believed in me. Through all my sin, shame and sadness, He has never left me. He has made the impossible, possible for me and for that, I will always be grateful. My life isn't perfect, nor do I expect it to be, but He sure does make it worth living. I know God is real, because I have felt His presence during my times of sorrow and joy. I've felt His touch, I've heard His whispers and I've felt His love. Without Him, I wouldn't know who I am today - it's that simple.

Maybe it makes sense to you, maybe it doesn't. Regardless, I pray this answer brings you some peace and healing. Let me know if you have any further questions.

I'm practicing abstinence and the guy I like has a sex addiction but he's in recovery. Should I pursue a relationship with him, even though he's been recovering from it for a few years? If we don't date, I'm going to be upset and I don't know what to do.

Sincerely, date my crush or be crushed

Hey date my crush or be crushed,
Let's get one thing straight here... it's not your job to pursue. That is the Man's job. Men are naturally inclined to be hunters and gatherers, if they want you, they'll come for you. Promise. Secondly,
